Miss Rosalind Vanterpool's fitness career started at the National level, competing at the Barbados Amateur Bodybuilding and Fitness Nationals and winning the Ms. Fitness Barbados title a record six times between 1999 and 2005.

While having the coveted Ms. Fitness Barbados title under control, Ms. Vanterpool spread her wings at the regional fitness level competing in the Eastern Caribbean Championships. She placed 1st in St. Maarten Netherlands Antilles and 3rd in St. Lucia in 1999 and 2000 respectively.

With an enthusiastic appetite for competition, she battled in highest regional amateur fitness arena, the IFBB Central America and Caribbean Championships. A steady progress for three years consecutively, 2002 to 2004 earned her 5th in Venezuela, 3rd in Bahamas and 2nd in Guyana. In Aruba 2005, Ms. Vanterpool dismissed the regional competition, placing 1st in the fitness short class division. The title of Ms. Fitness CAC Short Class also earned her an IFBB pro card ending her amateur career in fitness.

With title wins at the National and Regional amateur level, Ms. Vanterpool embarks on a new career in fitness, a Professional career starting with her first Pro Show, the Atlantic City Pro in New Jersey on September 14th and 15th 2007.
